About the School

Since our establishment as a Department in 1980, the School of Computer Science and Information Technology has evolved to being dedicated to the highest standards of education, research and community outreach.

We are one of the largest Computer Science and Information Technology schools in Australia with around 80 academic, technical and administrative staff. We presently cater for approximately 1800 students, including more than 850 international students, with over 70 students undertaking research degrees at Doctorate (PhD) and Master levels.
