Equity access schemes
1. Before applying for equity access you must complete your program application using one of these program application methods:
- Direct application
- Postgraduate research admission application.
- VTAC application (open from August 2013 for programs starting in Semester 1 2014).
2. Once your program application is complete, apply for the appropriate equity access scheme by the closing date:

| Research | Apply for a postgraduate research equity place (PREP) by completing a postgraduate research admission and scholarship application. | August 2013 | to be confirmed* |
* RMIT Access applications will continue to be accepted after the closing date as long as your program is still accepting applications. However, you are strongly encouraged to lodge your application by the deadline (shown above) to avoid missing out.
** This deadline applies to applicants who wish to be considered for a research scholarship in 2013. Applicants seeking admission to candidature only may lodge their application with the School of Graduate Research at any time throughout the 2013 admissions period. Applications will continue to be accepted until 31 March 2013 subject to availability of resources and supervision.
